“Stacked” consists of 20 assorted tins in a random order. Beans, sweet corn, chickpeas, tomato and one apple slices tin. Inside these various food tins are the contents of those tins themselves, mixed into one picture taken across a seven-day period. 7 trays stacked on top of each other, in order, with the bottom being Day 1. As the days stack up, the trays get more and more transparent, hinting it has lost its value as quantity goes up. The residue of corn and bean stains can be seen out the edges of the tins, reminding the viewer of what they are eating, every day.

By only looking at one can it is not possible to see the repetition, but when they are all put together, the gnarly blobs of beans spanning across the tray show up. Just like one Full English Breakfast is tasteful, but when you need to have it every day for months and years, not so.
